We call it being eco-chic. An astounding amount of perfumes are USED every day..

which means countless bottles get thrown in the trash.

Rain Bottle

I found yet another cool bottle to recycle.
I like the rain lettering so that part I will be leaving alone.

But on the bottom I will be taking off the lettering from there.
Then I will add bubble bath to it.

What would you use this bottle for ?
Lotion, oil, etc...

I have always been a big fan of reduce, reuse, recycle even before it was the trendy thing to do. Finding things that can be used for more then what they were made for since I was a little girl living in Brooklyn.

Some packaging can be cleaned & reused for other things.
Like the photos you see on top. It may cost you a dollar or two more but try to go with items that have glass & plastic packaging.

Try to reuse as many products as possible in your own household. Use your imagination.

You can use it as jars holders for hair pins, or to hold cotton balls & my favorite to hold your makeup brushes.

Build Me Up

I have a lot of  Trunks, so I decided to recycle them & create tables out of them. The picture above is a new table I'm making. I will be adding two more to this collection.
I love to recycle things for multitasking reason. It's a lot of fun.

In Need Of Support

Today's a great day. I'm in Central Florida collecting for
BRA RECYCLERS.
Here's my outfit for the day comfy & cute. Seeing how I needed support for everything I have done to get this ready, I see my suspenders being my second biggest support. Friends & Family being the first. Let me thank everyone for their support in this cause. I will be posting a blog later of the days events.

Who are BRA RECYCLERS ?
They are a textile recycling company specializing in recycling used and unused bras. A portion of the bras collected is donated to deserving women in communities around the world. They are doing their part to impact the environment by delaying the amount of unused bras/textiles that go to our landfills, thus reducing the pressure on virgin resources.

What Types of Bras Are Needed?
Bras in good condition; Clasps and straps need to be functional
All sizes and styles of bras, especially larger-sized bras (38 and up)
Special needs bras, post breast surgery and maternity bras

Note: If bras are new please keep the tags on the bras. Recipients of the bras appreciate knowing the bras they are receiving are new.
Recovering and Recycling Your Bras
We make it easy for you to recover and recycle all of the old or new bras sitting in your lingerie drawers waiting to be worn by a deserving woman in your community.
